GREENPLACE is a design-build studio for clients who want the outdoor space to clarify the home — not compete with it. Architecture leads. Materials are edited. Systems disappear beneath the beauty.
GREENPLACE reads the site before it touches it — sun angle, soil, prevailing wind, the way the house meets the ground. What follows is not decoration. It's a single composed atmosphere where planting, stone, water and light are edited into one calm idea.
Led by European-trained founders Viktor Peshekhonov and Volodymyr Dragan, the same two people who compose your garden direct its construction and tend it afterward. No handoff. No translation loss.
The Program
Every project is composed as a whole. Design leads, materials are restrained, and the invisible systems are engineered first — so the finished garden can simply feel effortless.

Planting decisions follow proportion, not catalog habit. Specimen trees, layered understory, seasonal rhythm and water-wise palettes are composed as one atmosphere — never a collection of separate moves.
Patios, retaining walls, outdoor rooms and engineered drainage are designed as extensions of the architecture — not surface-applied after the fact. We choose each material for how it weathers and how it reads against the home.

Water, fire, stone and crafted detail — placed with the same restraint as everything else. A single strong element is worth more than several decorative ones, and each is resolved for long-term ease of care.
The Promise
The same founders who compose your garden direct its construction — no handoff, no translation loss between drawing and dirt.
Long-term care is planned inside the design, not offered as an afterthought once the project closes.
C-27 License #1127515 · $1M/$2M General Liability · Bond #100884076 — every project, without exception.
The Sequence
Scope follows the site — not the other way around. Because the founders lead both design and delivery, the details that matter most are resolved before they become problems on site.
We visit with clear eyes — reading grade, drainage, light, and the relationship between structure and ground before any design begins.
Architecture leads the composition. A few strong moves resolved in material, proportion and planting — nothing added for decoration alone.
Irrigation, drainage, lighting and smart controls engineered into the design before surfaces are set — so the finished garden stays calm.
Founders stay present from first excavation through long-term care. The same eyes that designed the garden direct its installation and tend it after.
Why GREENPLACE
Founders with 20+ years of European horticultural discipline applied to Southern California microclimates and material conditions.
An architecture-first methodology — the landscape is designed to clarify the home, not decorate it.
Design and field delivery led by the same two people, from first call through long-term stewardship.
Material restraint as a creative principle — a few resolved moves rather than layered decoration.
Systems — drainage, irrigation, lighting — engineered during design so the finished garden reads as effortless.
Featured in Pro Landscaper USA (April 2026 & February 2026) and recognized among the 2026 Rising Stars.
The Screening Room
"Their team brought such a mindful and intentional approach to the entire project, and it truly showed in the final result. It was beyond what we imagined."
"We hired GREENPLACE to renovate our entire backyard — sod, planting, pebbles, edging, irrigation, lighting, redwood fencing. Every detail handled. It has held up beautifully."
"What impressed me most was how much thought went into things I couldn't even see — the drainage, the base under the pavers, the irrigation scheduling. A year later, it looks exactly as designed."
